BACK ONLINE!

Hello my faithful readers! All 2 of you...
Thanks for tuning in! I am back online after a brief hiatus, and I have returned to entertain you with interior design! Yay! My computer, which has been very good to me, took a little accident and fell off my porch. The screen cracked and I was saddened. BUT, thanks to the awesomeness that is my boyfriend and friends, we had my baby fixed and fitted with a new screen! Huzzah! Now, to catch you all up on my shenanigans!
So, I completed the THRONE and the SET for the original production, Master Mistress Muse: Sonnets In Love, produced by the Milestone Theatre Company! It was an amazing experience being able to create a set from my own imagination! Along with the help of my amazing art team, Venita Polonio and Mary Huff, we turned an odd shaped black canvas into a dream like minimalist set, draped with golden leaves and romanesque set pieces and drapery. Along with the fabulous throne fit for royalty, which I might add, I literally broke my back working on, I think we really made the set look great! Especially since the entire stage had to be empty of anything that might get in the way of THE CHORUS!
BUT, of course, I got SICK and I didn't get a chance to get a complete photo of the set! AAAGH. The only reference for the set I have are production photos which I'll show below.

The Ladies and I ♥

Wow. I am truly a terrible blogger. Well, let's get started, shall we?
SO FAR
I have found so many good things on the streets of southern California!
To add to the list of things found I now have:
A cabinet/shelve unit
A round table with 3 legs!
A retro lamp
and CURTAINS!
Well, the curtains I technically didn't find of the street, but they were found! Since I forgot to take a couple BEFORE pictures, I mostly have AFTER, but check 'em out anyway cause it's fun, and let's admit, you're probably bored!

I also have started a new project for Milestone Theatre Company. I am the Artistic Director for the upcoming production, Master Mistress Muse: Sonnets In Love, and have started working on a set piece... a THRONE. I've just begun working on it, but I hope it turns out great! More photos to come!

Hello interested reader!

Welcome to the first (of many) blogs dedicated to my further exploration into the world of interior design! I guess I'll start off by writing about how I decided to start this thing.

Well, it all started with the idea, 'How can I keep myself active in my favorite hobby, without falling through like so many other projects I have started.' The answer, a blog. I'm hoping it's the kind of motivation that'll keep me going, and hopefully, also inspire someone out there who's looking into their homes or living spaces, to find ways of improving, or changing the everyday bland routine of white walls and white linens. In this blog I hope to share my ideas, experiences, and latest obsessions with everything decorative, and to live, learn and create!
